CEE Lo Green denies he is homophobic for "Gay" Tweet

Cee Lo Green 12 singer Cee Lo Green has hit back at accusations he is homophobic after he adopted a reporter who gave a negative review of a recent performance was "gay".

Crazy singer performed with Rihanna on a recent gig in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but after critics Andrea Svensson gave a less than glowing review of his set, Green took to her Twitter.com page to attack journalist.

On their side, he wrote, "I respect your criticism, but fair! People got in last night! I am guessing you are gay? And my masculinity insulted you? Well, f *** you! "

Green was accused of homophobia over comment, but insists he was an "outrageous" mood of the night he posted the update, and is adamant he has no negative feelings towards the gay community.

He says, "when I did not even know what gender the person was. Me as a small stated that night, a little disturbing. I always expect people to believe that everything I do is part of my character and humour. I assume that whoever it was would assume it was all in the Harbor. It was not so good to have apparently.

"(I shouldn't've 't) need to apologize for talking to me or defend my performance. I have absolutely no kind of negative feeling against the homosexual community. I am one of the most liberal artists I think you will ever meet, and I pride myself on this. Two of the remaining members that I have on my team on (U.S. talent show) The Voice are proud and outspokenly gay. "
